Honor Societies

Each spring, students majoring or minoring in a foreign language with above-average performance in their language study are eligible to join the Iowa State chapters of the national foreign language honor societies: Sigma Delta Pi (Spanish); Pi Delta Phi (French); Eta Sigma Phi (Latin and Greek). Initiation ceremonies are held at the annual department awards ceremony.
