MyLSRC allows you to customize your LSRC resources by creating lists of favorite resources with annotations and by adding resource pages that contain useful online materials associated with the classes you are taking. If you are a student in the Department of World Languages and Cultures, you may request access to MyLSRC.

How does it work?

For each approved review of a LSRC resource you can accrue points. Approved reviews of LSRC resources get 1 point. For each point you accrue, we will put a raffle ticket with your name in a box. So the more points you accrue, the better your chances to win. You can also improve your chances to win by doing the following:

The first approved review for a particular resource will get 3 bonus points.

Use your language knowledge

Approved reviews written in one of the languages taught in the department of World Languages and Cultures will get 2 bonus points.

Act promptly

Get 1 bonus point per approved review submitted by March 24th.

How do I get started?

1. Request access to MyLSRC or send an email toLSRC@iastate.edu using your ISU E-mail. Please note: To gain access to MyLSRC you must be an ISU student and you must be either enrolled in a language class or pursuing a major or a minor in World Languages and Cultures.

2. Follow the instructions in MyLSRC. The last day to submit a review is April 4th 2008. The raffle will be public and will take place in the LSRC facilities on Friday, April 18th at 4:30pm. You do not need to be present to win. If the winner is not present, she or he will be contacted by email.
