MyLSRC

If you are taking a class in the Department or World Languages and Cultures, you are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the resources available at the LSRC. The best way to interact and keep up-to-date with LSRC resources is through MyLSRC. If you have not yet signed up for your account, visit this link to get started.

Printing

Faculty, students and staff may print from our black and white or color laser printers at the LSRC or in the Smart Classroom using NetPrint. ISU students and faculty automatically receive a printing subsidy every semester which can be used through NetPrint. To check your print balance, open http://www.asw.iastate.edu/ (will open in new window) and do the following:

  1. Click "Manage User".
  2. Click "Check Your Disk Quota" to see how much of your quota is in use or "Check Print Balance" to see how much of your print quota has been used.
  3. To see recent charges to your account, click "View Charges".

Scanning

Please ask the staff for assistance if you require assistance to use LSRC scanners. A slide scanner and ReadIris Pro OCR software is available in our Instructional Development Office in 3228 Pearson Hall for instructional development. Faculty and their student assistants working on instructional projects have priority on the use of the equipment in this office.
